Since then Rebecca has worked with us on our Crossing Bridges project, the Love Weoley Castle community awards, and she also co-set up our girl’s group back in 2018. Most recently Rebecca has been working as a coordinator for our new Arts Hours group, as well as helping to coordinate the relaunch of our monthly NAF Caf. Rebecca uses art in her practice as an educator and community practitioner. Her background is in theatre. She is a qualified costume designer and maker and prior to joining NAF she worked for many years with such companies as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Birmingham Hippodrome, Welsh National Opera and for the BBC on the daytime drama ‘Doctors’. Rebecca is also a qualified teaching assistant with experience in special needs education. She loves music and her favourite past times are singing and creative writing. Rebecca is also passionate about conservation and has a diploma Wildlife & Conservation. She set up NAF’s conservation and climate group ‘NAF Young Rangers’ in June 2020, and continues to lead the group, aimed at 6-15 year old’s, as well as develop a programme of educational activities and resources for the young conservationists of tomorrow.
